The Best Pelosi Idea,,, EVER!

March 9, 2010

If you receive the weekly e-mail from Floyd Brown of Impeach Obama Campaign.com, then you were able to read about this incredible idea that I am talking about. It’s an introduction to how we can help John Dennis in his campaign to unseat Nancy Pelosi in CA’s 8th District. WOW! Is that one of the coolest things EVER?

Check out this short vid on who John Dennis is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j28YzFJz4KQ&feature=related

Think of the possibilities: Everybody knows that Nancy Pelosi is an arrogant, self serving, disconnected, socialistic, spend in spite of our children, greedy politician.

To unseat her would not only help CA, but because of her position as Speaker of the House of Representatives and her influence on barrack hussein obama, John Dennis would unseat one of the engines in the Governmental attempt at taking over healthcare and many other liberties that we hold dear. This is a campaign of National Interest and I am rallying behind John Dennis.

Below, is the email that I received from Floyd Brown that I wanted to share with you;

Dear Fellow Concerned American:

I want to remind you of the scariest words in Washington – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. If that name still causes you to squirm, get angry and grind your teeth, then keep reading.

Like you, I’m tired of waking up every day to see Nancy Pelosi and her cronies work to fulfill the agenda of Barack Obama without regard for how it chips away at our national sovereignty, undermines our national economy and mortgages our children’s future. As a father, I’m worried about how their actions will impact my daughter, your children and future generations of Americans.

My concerns for our nation’s welfare are not strictly based on my affiliation with the Republican Party, but as a father, small business owner and patriotic American. I’m concerned that we continue to lose our rights and liberties daily as Washington politicians, led by Speaker Pelosi, want to force us to submit to socialism.

I’m a proud American who wants our nation to succeed in the vision of our Founding Fathers and refuses to see it continue down this wayward course of a death spiral.

That’s why I’m running for Congress against Nancy Pelosi.

You may think that a campaign of this nature is a lofty, unrealistic goal, but I believe that during these difficult economic times, the people of California’s 8th Congressional District deserve a Congressman who will represent their interests and that of America. In fact, I’m so confident that I can win this race for several reasons, that I’ve seeded the campaign with my hard-earned savings before I asked anyone for a dollar.

Just a few weeks ago, Nancy Pelosi was quoted in the venerable, inside-the-beltway newspaper, The Hill, stating, “I’m in campaign mode.”

Well, I can’t imagine why any Member of Congress, let alone the Speaker of the House would feel the need to boast about being in campaign mode, unless we were giving her a reason to worry. I think the people of the 8th District are starting to feel like the rest of my campaign team and America—it’s time for Nancy to RETIRE!

After all, millions of patriotic Americans have refused to remain quiet while Pelosi’s Congress files bill after bill seeking to strip us of our individual liberties. Fortunately, there are still some of us who know what individual liberty, limited government, and the free markets mean to the success of this great Republic.

That’s why I need your help to ensure we get this message out to tens of thousands of voters in this district as well as to the millions of liberty-loving Americans who want Nancy Pelosi to retire. Will you please contribute to the fund to retire Nancy Pelosi by supporting my campaign TODAY?

Every day, millions of Americas are now waking up to these realities and are ready to join us in taking back OUR government. It starts by removing those in power who are more concerned with their stranglehold on power, than their oath to OUR Constitution.

While the dollar has weakened over 35%, destroying our nation’s purchasing power and savings, Pelosi and her cronies were seeking ways through Pelosicare and other initiatives, to tax my daughter and future generations of Americans into lifelong debt.

The Federal government spends relentlessly, starting with Pelosi’s rides on private Gulfstream jets and fresh flowers for her office, while Americans starved, unemployment now exceeds 10% and law-abiding citizens went without proper medical care.

We continue to send troops in harm’s way, in a muddled, unconstitutional nation-building morass, with no end in sight. Simultaneously, Pelosi takes lead from President Obama, and the European NGO’s in attempt to commit our wealth, unconstitutionally, to a tax scheme for the World Bank and IMF.

Nancy Pelosi rams health care “reform” legislation down our throats that will only worsen a problem and increase healthcare rationing, with a projection of costs that grows exponentially on a daily basis. The problem was first, CAUSED by the government, and will NEVER be solved by the government.

In spite of all of the bad news, I see signs of hope.

Activism and peaceful protests against all of the Federal government’s shenanigans are increasing. We must use this energy to beat back Nancy Pelosi and force her into retirement..

My lifelong experiences in life, international business, and civic involvement have prepared me to go to Washington and unwind that mess. I’ve already spent time meeting with international businessman, leaders and understand the global impact we have on other nations.

Our campaign to retire Nancy Pelosi is a personal one.

After all, the welfare of my daughter, your children and grandchildren are at stake. We cannot allow Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and their Democratic machine to strip us of our individual liberties while they continue to increase our national debt and jeopardize our national security.

The repercussions are unimaginable!

Our campaign is breaking new ground daily. We’ve already received endorsements that reflect the uniting force of liberty, as well as demonstrate our ability to win.

That’s right – I said win.

So please join the campaign and help in any way you can. Please follow this link to make a generous contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250 or any amount you can afford to give. The federal maximum contribution is $2400 per person, but any amount is appreciated.

Remember, the money we raise won’t match Pelosi’s war chest or the support she’ll receive from PACs and K Street lobbyists, but I know your support comes with the energy of liberty-loving Americans who are ready to take back control of the Congress.

Together we can retire Nancy Pelosi this coming November! Thank you.

Yours in liberty,

John Dennis

Candidate for Congress
California’s 8th Congressional District

P.S.This is your moment to decide the very future of this country and our national sovereignty! Pelosi will have a coalition of unions, pharmaceutical companies and other special interest groups funding her campaign in an effort to keep her where they need her—in the Speaker’s Chair. That’s why I need your immediate support TODAY. Please follow this link to make your contribution of $25, $50, $100 or $250 right away. Thank you.

Growing Up In The Kronenberger House. (an analysis of the whole conservative vs. liberal thingy)

March 4, 2010

I was raised in what I consider to be, one of the best homes a person could possibly grow up in, period… I grew up in a large, old house in Belleville, IL on a street that had a great deal of history, fantastic stories on it’s architecture, and most importantly? Other kids.

It was cool as heck to grow up in the “kool-aid” house of our neighborhood where we never locked our doors, slept most nights with the windows open allowing a cool midwestern breeze to blow through the house from the attic fan.

My parents were youngsters when they started their journey as a family, giving birth to four children, fostering many and adopting several others. Upon completion of after school chores and when summer hit on our street, it was an all out free fall of activity as all of us boys picked teams for street football, or we would run to one of the two school yards down the street to facilitate the larger games.

We would run until after dark, playing, using our imaginations, catching fireflies, building snowmen, swimming, building clubhouses, go-carts and stuff, exploring and building friendships that, even though we would have periodic disagreements, would most certainly stand the test of time.

As parents go, God put together two of the most incredible, loving and wise parents, EVER! when he blessed the union between my mom and my dad. In spite of their youth, they were gentle & kind, yet strong in the areas of teaching and discipline. They were, and still are faithful to God, their church and their family, they lived what they taught, they loved without condition, sacrificed much and worked themselves to the point of exhaustion so that they could provide more for their kids, than they had when growing up. Words cannot express how deeply I Love them.

Their values reinforced the importance of patriotism, they taught us to fear God, that all men are created equal, to respect our elders, to Love, value friendships, pray, stay in school, be fair, enjoy our family, study the Bible, love our country, follow instruction, practice a strong work ethic, respect the ministry, they taught us that we could achieve anything that we set our minds to and of high importance? They taught us to know that there are consequences for every action.

This, was a small part of Growing Up In The Kronenberger House and as you can see, most of the reasons why America was such a great country were being practiced, in my home! With all of the Godly, moral and ethical principles in place, Growing up in the Kronenberger House, was incredible in many ways. Can any person say that they would have a reason to Hate life as a person growing up in the Kronenberger House? No.

This is is the point in the story where we see the ignorance of youth, come to life. In spite of how incredible it was to grow up in the Kronenberger House, I went through a phase where I had to go out and experience many of the harsh realities of life,,, for myself.

I ended up in a 4&1/2 yr stupor induced by narcotics and alcohol, and even though most of that is now a blur, I remember very well, hating who I had become at that point in my life.

I realized all too sadly after killing a billion brain cells, burning up bridges and damaging several friendships, that I was running from the kind of person that I had been raised and that I knew I was supposed to be. But in this state of denial I began spouting off bitter diatribes towards the Fanatic Religious Right, that had imposed their oppressive teachings on me and caused me to walk in guilt. I became critical of  their hypocrisy and the embarrassment that I had grown up with having been labeled as “one of those” people.

I was in serious denial of the truth and after 4&1/2 years, I ended up in deep personal reflection. Soon, I woke up to the realization that the anger I had been feeling, was my reaction to conviction and to guilt! I’ll break it down:

  1. I did not want to do what I knew was right, (narcotics, alcohol, lying and much more)
  2. I knew the difference between right and wrong, but
  3. I did not want anyone, or anything to tell me that I was wrong
  4. My conscience would never leave me alone
  5. When I was around people who strove to live right, I was convicted
  6. Instinctively, I would take a defensive posture around those people
  7. The longer I defended the more bitter and angry I became

I am of the opinion that the relationship between Liberals and Conservatives? It’s much the same.

As an outspoken conservative, I will be in the presence of people who despise conservatives for whatever reason, i.e; old school, stuck in the mud, not progressive, big family, etc., and it usually is spiritual, i.e; represent old fashioned values, morals, ethics, etc.

But the bottom line is, they know what is right, they know that conservatives represent sound, moral and spiritual values! They know that, as a whole, conservatives represent the very ideas the greatest nation in the history of mankind, was founded upon! Is this cause for anger? No.

But since they know that liberal values are generally attached to a host of ethical and morally questionable values, since they know that the movement as a whole is typically representative of non-traditional agendas, they will instinctively assume a defensive posture when in the same room and if they are an immoral, unGodly person,,, that posture and the anger that goes with it are compounded.

Whether you are a liberal, or a conservative, whether you are angry, or just annoyed, it does not matter. What does matter is that we have a responsibility to our children, their children and beyond, to do what is right.

The foundation that was built by our forefathers, it was built upon sound, moral and Godly wisdom, it has been a beacon of hope, a shining example of prosperity that was blessed of God, a place of refuge, liberty & freedom and we must protect it with all our might. Even though we may have disagreements now and then, let’s agree to get along, to remember that we are all citizens of America and do what we can to keep America sovereign.

I think we should treat it just like The Kronenberger House.

So,,, what was that you were saying about the quality of socialized healthcare???

‘My heart, my choice,’ Williams says, defending decision for U.S. heart surgery

An unapologetic Danny Williams says he was aware his trip to the United States for heart surgery earlier this month would spark outcry, but he concluded his personal health trumped any public fallout over the controversial decision.
In an interview with The Canadian Press, Williams said he went to Miami to have a “minimally invasive” surgery for an ailment first detected nearly a year ago, based on the advice of his doctors.
“This was my heart, my choice and my health,” Williams said late Monday from his condominium in Sarasota, Fla.
“I did not sign away my right to get the best possible health care for myself when I entered politics.”
The 60-year-old Williams said doctors detected a heart murmur last spring and told him that one of his heart valves wasn’t closing properly, creating a leakage.
He said he was told at the time that the problem was “moderate” and that he should come back for a checkup in six months.
Eight months later, in December, his doctors told him the problem had become severe and urged him to get his valve repaired immediately or risk heart failure, he said.
His doctors in Canada presented him with two options – a full or partial sternotomy, both of which would’ve required breaking bones, he said.
He said he spoke with and provided his medical information to a leading cardiac surgeon in New Jersey who is also from Newfoundland and Labrador. He advised him to seek treatment at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.
That’s where he was treated by Dr. Joseph Lamelas, a cardiac surgeon who has performed more than 8,000 open-heart surgeries.
Williams said Lamelas made an incision under his arm that didn’t require any bone breakage.
“I wanted to get in, get out fast, get back to work in a short period of time,” the premier said.
Williams said he didn’t announce his departure south of the border because he didn’t want to create “a media gong show,” but added that criticism would’ve followed him had he chose to have surgery in Canada.
“I would’ve been criticized if I had stayed in Canada and had been perceived as jumping a line or a wait list. … I accept that. That’s public life,” he said.
“(But) this is not a unique phenomenon to me. This is something that happens with lots of families throughout this country, so I make no apologies for that.”
Williams said his decision to go to the U.S. did not reflect any lack of faith in his own province’s health care system.
“I have the utmost confidence in our own health care system in Newfoundland and Labrador, but we are just over half a million people,” he said.
“We do whatever we can to provide the best possible health care that we can in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Canadian health care system has a great reputation, but this is a very specialized piece of surgery that had to be done and I went to somebody who’s doing this three or four times a day, five, six days a week.”
He quipped that he had “a heart of a 40-year-old, so that gives me 20 years new life,” and said he intends to run in the next provincial election in 2011.
“I’m probably going to be around for a long time, hopefully, if God willing,” he said.
“God forbid for the Canadian public I won’t be around longer than ever.”
Williams also said he paid for the treatment, but added he would seek any refunds he would be eligible for in Canada.
“If I’m entitled to any reimbursement from any Canadian health care system or any provincial health care system, then obviously I will apply for that as anybody else would,” he said.
“But I wrote out the cheque myself and paid for it myself and to this point, I haven’t even looked into the possibility of any reimbursement. I don’t know what I’m entitled to, if anything, and if it’s nothing, then so be it.”
He is expected back at work in early March.

Call It What You Want To

January 18, 2010

But I Call it Corruption, via obama

The reason I am writing this is because of an e-mail that I received from a friend of mine here in the Orlando area, who is a retired marine.

(BTW, I really do not like the fact that he is constantly sending me e-mails skewed to the far right on matters concerning Gov’t,,, I LOVE IT!)

Anyway, the  segment below is a copy and paste of one of his e-mails and I am sharing this because I am amazed at how this issue is NOT being addressed in any way as though it is criminal. WHY? I don’t know. I really don’t get it.

Here is that email:

“On December 19, 2009, Senator Ben Nelson, democrat, from Nebraska was granted immunity by the democratic Senate leadership from Medicaid funding mandates that all other states will be required to pay in return for his vote to pass the Senate Health Reform Bill.

Two weeks ago, Senator Mary Landrieu,  democrat from Louisiana acquired $300,000,000.00 from the Senate democratic leadership for the State of Louisiana in return for her vote to save the Senate Health Care Reform Bill.  Would you consider this blackmail, bribery, corruption at its highest level?” (end email)

I do consider that to be Bribery and it is most certainly corruption. By allowing this to stand, we are saying that our laws and our sovereignty are up for sale and they are dictated by the highest bidder!

CRIMINAL.

My friend ended the email with this call to action:

“In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election; all 435 of them. One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election.

Vote every incumbent out! And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let’s start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents.

Let’s make them understand that they work for us. They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense.

Two years later, in 2012, we will vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out.

We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well. (cleaned house)

We, the People, have got to take this Country back and we HAVE to do it peacefully.

That’s what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned. I am also suggesting term limits on the NEW BUNCH — 8 YEARS FOR REPRESENTATIVES. AND12 YEARS  [2 terms]   FOR SENATORS.NO EXCEPTIONS.  THE LONGER THEY STAY IN OFFICE THE MORE POWER THEY GET AND THEY LOVE IT AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RE-ELECTED.

WE HAVE TERM LIMITED THE PRESIDENT –NOW LET’S TERM LIMIT THE LEGISLATORS.

In addition, they should have the same health programs everyone else in America does. When they are through serving their country they go back to being private citizens. They should view their service as a privilege; after all it was designed to be a part time job to represent the voice of the people, NOT the special interest groups and those who can do favors for them. If they don’t like this proposal then don’t run for office…

Please, send this (as I have done) to  absolutely everyone whose email address appears in your address book. This thing can permeate this Country in no time. Let’s make it happen.” (end email)

What do you think? Personally, I think he’s on to something and I am inspiring all of my friends and all of my relatives to consider this plan of action.

Chris,
